NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to sections 890 and 892 of the Local Government Act that a Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Village of Kaslo, 312 Fourth Street, Kaslo, B.C. on Tuesday, November 18th 2014 at 4:00pm for the purpose of hearing representations concerning “ Village of Kaslo Land Use Amendment Bylaw No.1163, 2014" which proposes to amend “Village of Kaslo Land Use Bylaw 1130” to:
- Rezone LOT B, DISTRICT LOT 208 KOOTENAY DISTRICT, PLAN NEP90470 from C1: Waterfront Commercial to R-1: Single and Two Family Residential.
TAKE NOTICE that the proposed Bylaw and any other relevant information that may be considered by Council, can be obtained at the Village of Kaslo Office, 312 Fourth Street, Kaslo, B.C. between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Tuesday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, from October 29th , 2014 until November 18th , 2014.
Anyone who believes the proposed Bylaw will affect their interests shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in person or by a representative or by written submission at the above-noted time and place. If you are unable to attend the Public Hearing, written comments may be mailed, facsimiled, emailed or hand-delivered to the Village of Kaslo by 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 18th, 2014. Legally, the Village of Kaslo cannot consider any representations made after the close of the Public Hearing. Enquiries and written comments/submissions should be directed to:
